Here you will find some informations about me, my references and what I´ve done in the past, but most important what´s going on now and what will happen in the future !

 

The new album "Voyage" from my band French Acoustic is out now - check it out !

 

This time we recorded not only french songs, but also international songs. So you will find an interesting bossa nova arrangement of "Un Autre Monde", from the french rock band Telephone, or an oriental kind version of "Amsterdam" from Jaques Brel, but also a groovy version of "Billie Jean" from the great Michael Jackson, a hot arrangement of "Master Blaster" from Stevie Wonder and many other great songs !

 

You will find on this album the beautiful voice of Emily PELLO, Michel OTT on piano, TC DEBUS on acoustic bass and myself on drums.

 

We recorded this album in two afternoons, live in the studio, to make the songs feel "real" and with no overdubs. Most songs are first or at least second takes to keep everything as fresh as possible...

 

Beside French Acoustic I´m usually, again in 2012, on the road with bands playing jazz, pop, latin or galas, in clubs, festivals or private events but also playing for TV shows.

 

The great musical High Society I'm drumming for, with the music of Cole Porter, and which takes place at the beautiful Theater of Baden-Baden in Germany, will go on till this summer.

 

I'm again leading, in 2012, workshops for drumset playing in all kind of styles, for percussion-playing in orchestras, jazz interpretation for non-jazz musicians, drumset in big-bands and chart reading.

 

My private drumschool, Drummers Studio, is going on for it's second year ! At a nice and cool location with good equipment, drummers of all levels and drum teachers can learn what they need to become better drummers or better teachers. Some of my students, in the past years, went to New York City to study at Drummers Collective - check it out !

 

In my Recording Studio I´m recording drum parts for different kind of productions as demo CDs for bands.
